Day 1 : Cochin

On arrival meet, assist and transfer to the hotel. Then a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace and Antique shops. Overnight at Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (126 Km/4 Hrs approx)

The morning after breakfast proceeds to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

After breakfast to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and the vast expanse of grassland on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Jan 21st to Mar 31st, 2019). Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar -Thekkady (97 Km/3 Hrs approx)

Morning proceeds to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy a plantation tour covering tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Stay in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady - Alleppey (128 Km/ 3 Hrs approx )

The morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. By noon check-in at the houseboat. Do a mind-blowing cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way, you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries. Overnight at Houseboat.

Description:
Houseboats are huge, slow-moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodelled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present-day houseboat is a private boat with a fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the backwaters.
The houseboat check-in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be till next day 9 am. During the cruise, you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries.The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non-Vegetarians.

Day 6: Alleppey - Kovalam (156 Km/4 Hrs approx)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kovalam- the internationally renowned beach destination. Spend the rest of the day in the sandy beaches of Kovalam flanked by coconut groves on one side and Arabian sea on the other. Overnight at the beachside hotel.

Day 7: Kovalam

The morning after breakfast proceeds for a city tour of Trivandrum covering Napier Museum and Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Afternoon at leisure in Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam.

Day 8: Kovalam - Trivandrum (12 Km/19 Min)

The morning after breakfast proceeds to Trivandrum airport/railway station for onward journey.
